Cortland Lake Lotus

Worst apartment complex I’ve EVER lived in ANYWHERE. People are robbed here regularly, you can hear people having sex in the apartments next to you, the management and leasing agents have turned over so many times I’ve lost count. They so called “remodeled” this place by basically putting lipstick on a pig. You will think the appliances, etc look so nice until you actually live here and try to use them. The fire alarm boxes in the breezeways go off 24-7 for days at a time and no one fixes them. Maintenance is extremely rude and will track dirt and anything else on their feet into your apartment without a care. The current manager is non-existent, have never seen them in the office even once. They all pretend to be nice to get you to live here and then once you move in all bets are off. I could fill a book with details about how horrid this place is inside and out, photos, etc. How I wish everyday I had never moved here. Oh, and don’t be fooled by most of the good reviews, many are in fact maintenance/staff/former staff. I have reported ones I’ve found to Google but they have not removed them. It’s insane. If I can save even one person the absolute misery of this place then I consider it a good deed for sure. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I have been living at Cortland at lake lotus for almost a month now and wow what a great community. The staff in the office are great, maintenance is very responsive, polite, and always does a great job. My apartment is exactly what I need and want. Easy to park in front of my building, easy access to the pool and the gym. Love the food trucks coming through the week and all the activities and notifications we receive on the daily. No complaints from me everything is truly going well and that is not always easy to say.

Fabiana was very sweet and super kind when working with my fiancé and I getting our apartment. I've only been here for about a week or so, but everything has been very nice so far. It feels rather cozy and safe, which is extremely important to me. When I got the keys to my apartment and looked it over, it was in extremely good condition. It was cleaned very well with no damage. I enjoy the appliances, haven't ran into any issues so far. I'll update my review when I've been here a bit longer.

Alejandro has gone above and beyond. My wife and I have been here for about 72 hours maybe a little more, and he’s been very available for any little issues we had during move in. Superior service and he even showed up on Sunday morning! I mean, you can’t beat that as far as service goes. That’s commitment to your residents and that’s something I really appreciate.
